30 Stories for 30 Years: Chapter 15– A Race to Do Good

This past Saturday, PPAGer Stacy Arbaugh participated in the 2017 Pineland Striders Independence 10K Race at Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ.
This was her 7th consecutive year running this race, but it was the Pineland Striders 40th Annual.  Stacy’s father was a member of the Pineland Striders Running Club and she chooses to run this race every year in his memory.
All of the proceeds from the race benefit the Precious Gems Memorial, a local organization created to increase public awareness of the dangers of Drinking and Driving.  In addition, the Pineland Striders have added the American Diabetes Association Camp Freedom as a beneficiary.  Camp Freedom provides diabetic children with opportunities to enjoy normal camp activities.
