30 Stories for 30 Years: Chapter 6– 35 Years of Fellowship

The Dubliner Brunch was started 35 years ago in 1982 by the late Senator Pete McDonough. The idea was to create an opportunity for good friends to spend some special time together and to celebrate in the fine tradition of Irish fare and fellowship.

In 1987, Dale Florio and Pete McDonough, Jr, the senator’s son, founded PPAG. We’ve proudly continued the tradition for the last 30 years and the Dubliner Brunch has become a premiere event of PPAG & the NJ State Chamber during the Annual Walk to Washington. Pete McDonough Jr. currently is the Senior Vice President for external affairs at Rutgers University.

This year’s brunch was made possible in part by generous sponsorship by the NJ Chamber of Commerce, Altria Client Services, Inc., Public Service Electric and Gas Company and the NJ Liquor Store Alliance.
