Our newest PPAGer, Davon McCurry, is President of the Siani Strong Foundation. Davon and his family founded the foundation which passionately advocates for bone marrow transplant and cancer patients after his sister Siani passed away after a long battle with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.Siani fought with grace and shared a message of hope with the community. She impacted the lives of many near and far with her strength and charisma. The Siani Strong Foundation continues to spread Siani’s message by providing financial and emotional assistance to parents and families of children with blood and bone disorders.
On February 4, SSF hosted their annual Night of Hope Gala at the Mansion on Main Street with over 200 people in attendance and raised close to $20,000. In 2016, Siani Strong assisted 27 families with over $17,500 in financial assistance with rent, utilities, transportation and many other expenses for families in need.
